Our office offers multiple options for orthodontic care, including traditional metal braces, clear braces, and Invisalign and we are pleased to always provide the latest in orthodontic treatment for both children and adults.
Office Manager
I’m Sally. I have the best job in the world! I love building relationships with our patients and enjoy being part of their orthodontic experience every step of the way. I have over 40 years experience in the dental field and I have been with Ballard Orthodontics since April 2007. One of the best parts of my job is knowing that Dr. Ballard does a great job treating our patients and he is super to work with. Our staff makes work not even feel like work with their silly sweetness! My awesome husband Randy and I have a home in Sagle with our daughter Heidi. She is the last of our seven children still at home. We also have 11 grandchildren “so far”. A fun fact about me is that I enjoy going to yard sales and finding treasures.

Hello, I'm Julie. I have been in the orthodontic field since 1996! I hold CDA and COA certifications from DANB. I have worked for Dr. Ballard since he moved to Sandpoint in 2006. My favorite part of being an orthodontic assistant is getting to know the kids and watching them grow and change. I am married and have 2 kids. I love being outdoors enjoying nature in all aspects. We enjoy camping, swimming, hunting, off-roading, and having BBQ’s and bonfires. It is always a fun time with family and friends.
Orthodontic Assistant/Treatment Coordinator
Hello, I’m Lana. I moved to Sandpoint back in October 2016 and love it here. I have been in the dental field for over 15 years, 8 years as an orthodontic assistant. I love seeing a patient from the first day of their journey to the last and how happy they are when their braces come off. Dr. Ballard is an amazing orthodontist and puts his heart and soul into every patient he sees. Some things that bring me a lot of happiness are my handsome 15 year old son and beautiful 10 year old daughter. They are my life! My husband is my rock! I love to go hiking and spending time with my family and friends.

I’m Ashley. I have 7 years of experience in the field of orthodontics and have been with Ballard Orthodontics since December of 2016. Being in this profession is rewarding because you get to see confidence grow every day. We literally make smiles. I love getting to know these wonderful patients and truly making a difference in their life. Not to mention we have lots of fun here! I also love that Dr. Ballard invests so much into each patient he really cares about each and everyone that walks through our doors! I grew up in Priest River Idaho and following high school, I went into the Marine Corps and spent time in Iraq. I have one daughter and three dogs, I enjoy hiking, exploring, camping, boating and most importantly spending time with my family.

Hi! My name is Kearah. I have been a part of Dr. Ballard's team as an orthodontics assistantsince 2019. Ballard Orthodontics is an amazing place to work and Dr. Ballard is the best! I love getting to know our patients and enjoy every second of it! I am originally from Canada but have lived in the Sandpoint area since 2011. I Have 2 dogs and enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as hiking, fishing and exploring the beautiful North Idaho area!

Hi, I’m Kuranda! I have lived in the Sandpoint area since 2010. I’ve had the pleasure of working for Dr.Ballard at Ballard Orthodontics since 2022. It’s been awesome watching our patients start to grow up and the amazing changes to their smiles! I spend all of my free time with my son. We like to go skiing in the winter, hike, fish and camp in the summer.

Hi, I'm Megan, I was born and raised in Sandpoint. I went to college in Spokane at Carrington College. I've been in the dental field since 2021, and I enjoy continually learning the world of orthodontics. What I love most about orthodontics is getting to know the patients! I am married to my wonderful husband, Robert. We enjoy doing everything together like dirt-biking, camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Hi, I'm Maya. I was born and raised in beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho. I have known for many years that I wanted to work in the dental field, so when I started here at Ballard Orthodontics in November of 2022, I was ecstatic to find out just how much I'd enjoy the job, patients and my coworkers. Dr. Ballard never fails to put a smile on everyone's faces, and I feel very fortunate to support such a wonderful doctor and practice. Outside of the office most of my time is spent with my boyfriend, friends and family, I especially love going to music festivals and being on Lake Pend Oreille all summer long.

Hi, My name is Elaine. I was born and raised in Sandpoint and love everything this area has to offer. After being able to stay home with my kids for several years I was excited to join Dr. Ballard and this amazing team in 2022. I love that I work with friends and for a Doctor who genuinely cares about every person that he treats. My wonderful husband and I have 5 kids. In our spare time we enjoy hiking, boating and movie and game nights together.
